To empower and unite Sierra Leonean diaspora communities across the Benelux region, Greece, and the Vatican by fostering meaningful engagement, strengthening cooperation, and catalyzing business, trade, and development initiatives that contribute to sustainable national progress in Sierra Leone.

Youth Empowerment Programmes
SLDAC supports youth development across the Benelux Region and Greece by empowering local Sierra Leonean organisations to design and run activities that build identity, leadership, and community engagement.

Promotion of Sierra Leonean Culture and Heritage
This programme preserves and promotes Sierra Leone’s cultural identity across Europe. Activities are led by Sierra Leonean organisations, with SLDAC providing coordination and proposal‑development support.

Invest in Affordable Student Housing
SLDAC supports efforts to expand affordable student housing in Sierra Leone by helping develop business proposals and connecting diaspora investors with credible companies and cooperatives.

Invest in Cool Room Storage Systems
SLDAC promotes the development of modern cold‑storage facilities to reduce post‑harvest losses and strengthen Sierra Leone’s agricultural value chain.
Background of SLDAC
The Sierra Leone Embassy in Brussels headed by HE Ambassador Philip Bob Jusu initiated a successful engagement process aimed at strengthening relationships with the Sierra Leonean diaspora across Belgium, Greece, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.This proactive effort led to the establishment of the first Sierra Leone Diaspora Advisory Council (SLDAC).
