Asmiu Elba is a dedicated community leader, cultural advocate, and influential youth representative within the Sierra Leonean diaspora in Belgium. Based in Antwerp, he serves as the Chairman of the first and only Sierra Leonean cultural organisation in Belgium, a pioneering institution committed to preserving Sierra Leonean heritage, promoting unity, and strengthening cultural identity among Sierra Leoneans living abroad.

A proud alumnus of the Sierra Leone Grammar School and Suffolk University in Dakar, Asmiu has built a reputation grounded in service, leadership, and cultural preservation. His commitment to community development and youth empowerment earned him an appointment as Diaspora Youth Ambassador by the Sierra Leone Diaspora Advisory Committee at the Embassy of Sierra Leone in Brussels—an acknowledgment of his influence, dedication, and vision.

He is the creator and administrator of the Sierra Leone Belgium Neighbourhood Watch Forum, a vital support network that provides financial, social, and administrative assistance to Sierra Leoneans across Belgium.
